Navigator Program - supports young people aged 12-17 years who are not connected to schools at all or are at risk of disengaging.

The Navigator Program provides intensive case management and outreach support to disengaged learners. The program works with these young people and their support networks to return them to education.

Navigator is delivered by community agencies that work closely with local schools and area teams to support a young person to re-engage back into education.

The XTend Program is a specialist education program run through MacKillop Education. It supports high risk young people (aged 12-17 years) who have disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from education.

My Maintenance Crew: Get Skills – Get Training – Get Work Experience

My Maintenance Crew offers unpaid internships (3 days a week for four weeks) that help develop employability skills, gives the opportunity to do some hands on work and the opportunity to get paid employment at the end of the internship.

The work involves general handyman, gardening, clean-up work on residential properties, commercial premises, work shops or after an event.

You need to be 17-25 years old and not employed or enrolled in school/training.

Head Start - a new model for school based apprenticeships

Head Start students spend more time doing paid, on-the-job training while also completing their VCE or VCAL at school.

In the first year, students will spend one or two days per week in their apprenticeship. This will increase to three or four days per week in the final year.
